As a key member of the Production Test Team at Apple, the test engineer will provide product test and debug support for a group of Apple products that contain digital cameras. This support will begin at the design phase and carry on to high volume production.You will interface daily with in-house design, process, and quality engineering teams with the goal of developing the test solution for specific camera enables products. You will also manage the development and implementation of cost-effective methods of production testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for consumer products which contain digital cameras, through project management of in house and consultant test groups.Specific duties will be;Assessing product test requirementsDevelopment of manufacturing test solutions/strategies/test plansDevelopment of manufacturing test softwareDevelopment of manufacturing test fixturingDocumenting test equipment designs and test processes/proceduresPerforming data mining of factory test results for trend analysisPerforming Failure Analysis on failing productsJob Requirements:Minimum BSEE, BSET with 6 -10 years experience.Familiarity with Digital Camera Module design/operation/test, CMOS image sensor technology, lens operation – knowledge of implementation of cameras into mobile products is a strong plus.Demonstrate professionalism, time management and persistence.Excellent verbal and written skills.Strong leadership skills.Ability to interface with all levels of the organization.Team player with strong analytical and excellent problem solving skills.Software development skillsLabView, Matlab and C/C++.Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
